Carrigan is super excited to be one of a handful chosen out of 500 applicants as a contestant in Ethan Bortnick’s Talent Search on the PBS special “Celebration of Music!” To vote for Carrigan as your favorite contestant go to her voting page. One of the highlights of 2018 was Carrigan’s invitation to perform at the Dr. Martin Luther King Birthday Celebration for Newport’s NAACP! Thank you Newport NAACP!

Carrigan once again is competing for Miss America’s Outstanding Teen at the Casino Theater in Newport, RI on May 5th and 6th! Her platform is very near and dear to her heart: Youth Mentoring: Let’s Shine Together! Wish her luck!

Carrigan feels very fortunate to be working with several talented local musicians and song writers to perform their original music. She appreciates these opportunities and community support! She is looking forward to recording at Portsmouth’s Stable Sound recording studio with multi talented singer/song writers Pat Cottrell and Timmy May in the coming year. She is also working Jimmy Winters on his original music as well as her own.

Watch for the re-release this holiday season of the Carrigan & Friends Holiday CD dedicated “In Loving Memory” of the late legendary singer Bobby Pollit, who performed in the show and is featured on the CD recorded live in DECEMBER 2016 at the Edward King House Senior Center in Newport, RI. Proceeds benefit the Housing Hotline. Special thanks to all who worked on this special community project: Thanks to performers Yvette Thompson, the late Bobby Pollitt, Jimmy Winters, Nick “Taska Donnelly” and & Tender Care Kids Choir.  Thanks to Carmella Geer and the EKH, Sound Engineer Matt Rugerri and Production Engineer Nick “Toska”Donnelly.
